19 March 2020 : Covid-19 Testing Testing.. 25,000 per day

Well my temperature is back to normal.....there is a surprise.....I don't have any aches or pains.....I do have a tickle in my throat and am getting a bit of fluid now from the very gentle intermittent cough, but I think that is the green tea which is a great detox and considering I am drinking about 100 cups a day I am not surprised. I am gargling with mouthwash, gargling with salt, scrubbing the back of my tongue with my toothbrush so hard I am wretching....what the hell......

My anxiety is settling down. After nearly a week of us all isolating (including one of them isolating at friends) we are all safe indoors - they better not think they are invincible cos I can't keep an eye on them.....young adults eh....

The government have said they are going to increase testing capabilities to allow them to carry out 25,000 tests a day......well hurry the feck up......our mental health wondering if we do have it, if we don't have it will be so damaging. If we have had it and recovered we can get back into the world and help the front line workers....with caution of course (face mask, gloves, wellie boots etc....)

The WHO have consistently said....test test test. Although frustrated about the testing, I have been impressed with the leadership shown, (I am not a Tory) but it is strong and that little boy who is now chancellor is doing so well although at one point I did think he was going to cry when Boris said schools where closing. Not sure if it is enough for everyone but it is calming me down and I am at least getting two hours sleep!
