So the government are focusing on reducing the R number. It has gone down from 4 to below 1 and needs to stay below 1 to relax the lockdown. I must admit I am happy to stay at home until this spread of this virus is at 0.....The kids are used to me by now....still washing the dogs feet......really...............is anyone else doing this!
Have just been told that a friend has caught it, she has been at home with her family and kids for almost 6 weeks, she went into lockdown before the actual lockdown as one of her children has breathing issues. The only time she has left her house is to go to the supermarket. She is ultra hygienic and I know will have been taken all of the precautions my husband deems unnecessary like washing the shopping, removing shoes before entering the house, although I do insist he does this! If she is being that careful and still manages to catch it, what hope is there for the rest of us!
I am still finding positives in every day though, we are so fortunately to be able to stay at home. We clapped for our carers again this evening and for Captain Tom....the legend, 100 years old today and he did laps of his garden to raise money for the NHS and has raised £29m, what a true hero.
