So trying to maintain a positive mental attitude is so hard in this conditions. I listen to the Government briefing and then catch the 6pm news. Spain and Italy are still suffering so badly and France is following closely behind. I did a little chart and it shows we are basically on the same trajectory. They are opening the Nightingale Hospital to 500 patients on Wednesday of this week. Last time I went to the Excel Centre it was for the Cake and Bake Show - how times have changed.
I am donating money to NHS hospitals and to help them get PPE. Hospitals are asking our schools for their Science PPE - goggles, aprons, shoe covers. 1 in 4 doctors are off sick due to this virus. Still not much testing going on. I do hope our strategy of staying home and staying safe will help the NHS and ultimately safe lives. There are a few tossers out there - a footballer decided to go to his mates for a drink and crashed his car on the way home, some family had a karaoke party and got a good telling off...seriously people wake up. This will get worse before it gets better!
My mood is getting so despondent and I am frustrated with my hubby insisting he walks the dog, my daughter's boyfriend insisting he go for a run every morning, run round the garden. I am doing so much cleaning and stink of bleach.........will wake up in the morning with my PMA and see how the day goes.
